On Vetano, your profile is your portfolio. Whether you’re a barber, chef, designer, developer, sales professional, or in the trades — you can show proof of skill and stand out beyond text.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Enter your phone number

  2. Verify with the code sent by text

  3. Choose Talent as your role

Step 2: Build a Strong Talent Profile (Do this first)

The better your profile, the more opportunities you’ll unlock.

✅ Name + Tagline

Make it clear at a glance what you do.
Examples:

  • “Toni — Precision Barber | 10+ Years”

  • “Jae — Nail Artist | Custom Designs”

  • “Sam — Graphic Designer | Branding + Web”

  • “Alex — Sales | B2B Demos + Closing”

✅ Bio (up to 1,000 characters)

Include:

  • What you do best (specialties)

  • What you’re looking for (job/gig/industry)

  • Where you can work (city/remote)

  • What makes you different (work ethic, reliability, style)

✅ Intro Video (recommended 30–60 seconds)

This is your first impression. Keep it simple:

  • Who you are + what role you want

  • 1–2 highlights (experience/specialties)

  • Your strengths (reliability, teamwork, quality)

  • Availability + where you can work
Optional (powerful): show 10–15 seconds of proof (before/after, quick demo, portfolio screenshare, sales pitch clip)

Pro tips: good lighting, clear audio, look at the camera, keep it under a minute.

✅ Skill Showcase (up to 9 media slots)

Use the 9 slots to prove skill visually:

  • Before/after work

  • Short clips of you working (clean + professional)

  • Finished results / projects

  • Portfolio walkthroughs (design/dev)

  • Pitch/demo clips (sales)

  • Certifications/training (if relevant)

📎 Attachments (highly recommended)

Upload:

  • Resume

  • Certificates

  • Awards

  • Licenses

Privacy: attachments and personal contact info are private by default. Others can only see them if you allow a Connection and it’s accepted.

⭐ Ancillary skills (your “extra edge”)

Add extra talents that make you memorable: music, art, content creation, photography, languages, public speaking, etc. Employers often hire the full person, not just the job title.

Step 3: Verify Your ID

After your profile is ready, complete ID verification:

  • Go to Settings → Verify ID

  • Follow the prompts

Verification helps prevent scams and fake profiles and keeps Vetano high-trust.

Step 4: Create Your Handle + Share Your Vetano Link (QR button)

After your profile is complete and you’re ID-verified:

  1. Tap the QR code button in the top-right corner

  2. Create your custom handle

  3. Copy/share your Vetano profile link

Use your Vetano link everywhere you apply: résumé, LinkedIn (Featured), job applications, and messages to managers.

Step 5: Apply to Jobs (Free)

  • Browse jobs in Explore

  • Tap Apply

  • Applying to jobs is free

If an employer is interested, they may send a Connection request. Chat opens after acceptance.

Step 6: Gigs + Connections (Talent Pro)

If you want to apply to gigs, post your own gigs, or send connection requests, upgrade to Talent Pro:

  • $79/month or $790/year (Save 17%)
    Includes:

  • Send connection requests to talents

  • Apply for gigs

  • Post your own gigs

Step 7: Control Your Profile Visibility

Profiles are public by default, but you can change this in Settings:

  • Public: discoverable in Explore/search

  • Private/Hidden: not discoverable while you build
