Vetano Quick-Start Guide

Everything you need to set up your profile, prove your skills, and start hiring or getting work — as Talent or an Employer.

1) Create Your Account

  1. Download the Vetano app (App Store / Google Play)

  2. Sign up with your phone number

  3. Enter the verification code

  4. Choose your role: Talent or Employer

  5. Start building your profile

2) Complete Your Profile First (Before ID Verification)

Your profile is your first impression — the better it is, the more opportunities you’ll unlock.

Talent profile must-haves

  • Name + bio (what you do + what you’re looking for)

  • Location / where you can work

  • Skills + experience

  • Intro video (30–60 seconds recommended)

  • Skill Showcase (up to 9 media slots)

  • Attachments (resume, certificates, awards, licenses — optional but powerful)

Employer profile must-haves

  • Company name + location(s)

  • What you hire for

  • A short description of your business and expectations

3) Upload Your Proof (Talent)

Intro Video (30–60 seconds)

Keep it simple:

  • Who you are + role you want

  • 1–2 highlights (experience/specialties)

  • Your strengths (reliability, speed, cleanliness, teamwork)

  • Availability + where you can work

  • Close confidently

Optional (but powerful): highlight a skill on camera (10–15 seconds)
Examples: before/after, quick work clip, tools/setup, certification.

Skill Showcase (9 media slots)

Great uploads include:

  • Before/after work

  • Short clips of you working (clean and professional)

  • Completed projects

  • Certifications / training

  • Anything that shows quality and consistency

4) Upload Attachments (Resume, Certificates, Licenses, Awards)

In Attachments, you can upload:

  • Resume

  • Certificates

  • Awards

  • Licenses

Privacy: Your personal contact info and attachments are only visible if you allow someone to connect with you (after a Connection is accepted).

5) ID Verification (Next Step)

ID verification helps keep Vetano real and professional.

How to verify:

  1. Go to Settings → Verify ID

  2. Upload a clear photo of a government-issued ID

  3. Follow the prompts

6) Create Your Handle + Share Your Vetano Link (QR button)

After your profile is complete and you’re ID-verified:

  1. Tap the QR code button in the top-right corner

  2. Create your custom handle

  3. Copy/share your Vetano link

You can share:

  • Your profile link

  • A job link

  • A gig link

7) Employer Quick Guide (Jobs, Gigs, and Hiring)

Post a Job (ongoing role)

Jobs are for ongoing hiring (FT/PT, W2/1099).

  • Tap Post a Job

  • Include: role, pay range, schedule, location, expectations

  • Add “Requested Proof Videos” (template below)

  • Share your job link (QR/share) on Craigslist/Indeed/social to funnel applicants through Vetano

Post a Gig (short-term task)

Gigs are for task-based or short-term work (urgent help, one-off tasks, events, small projects).

  • Tap Post a Gig

  • Include: task, pay, deadline, location, expectations

  • Share your gig link to get responses fast

Requested Proof Videos (copy/paste into your job post)

Requested Proof Videos (required to apply):
Please upload 1–3 short clips (15–60 seconds each) showing:

  1. Skill proof for this role

  2. A 20–30 second intro (experience + availability)

  3. Optional: how you handle a real scenario (speed/quality/customer issue)

Review applicants

  • Watch intro videos + skill showcases

  • Review experience + attachments (if shared through a Connection)

  • Chat after the candidate accepts your Connection request

8) Talent Quick Guide (Getting hired faster)

Use your Vetano link everywhere you apply

Until the marketplace is fully built out, you can still win jobs by sharing your Vetano link in:

  • Résumé

  • LinkedIn (Featured)

  • Job applications

  • Direct messages to managers

Employers see proof of skill and personality — not just text.

Control your visibility

In Settings, set your profile to:

  • Public: discoverable in Explore/search

  • Private/Hidden: not discoverable while you build

9) Pricing & Plans (Current)

Talent (I’m looking for work)

  • Free: Apply to unlimited jobs + build your verified profile

  • Pro: $79/month or $790/year (Save 17%)

    • Send connection requests to talents

    • Apply for gigs

    • Post your own gigs

Employers (I’m hiring)

10) Common Issues & Fixes

Verification fails

  • Ensure your details match your ID

  • Use good lighting + stable connection

  • Retry, or go to Settings → Help

Upload problems

  • Check device storage

  • Restart the app

  • Try again on Wi-Fi

Billing issues

  • Confirm your payment method in the App Store / Google Play

  • Go to Settings → Help for support

11) Trust & Safety

  • ID verification helps keep Vetano real and professional

  • Contact info and attachments stay private unless a Connection is accepted

  • Report abuse or suspicious behavior in the app
