Q: Why do I need to verify my identity?
Vetano is built on trust. ID verification helps reduce fake profiles, scams, and spam, and makes the marketplace safer for everyone.
Q: When do I verify my ID?
After you complete your profile. The recommended flow is:
Profile → ID verification → QR/share (top-right) → create handle + share link.
Q: Is my phone number shared with other users?
No. Your phone number is used for secure login. Personal contact info is shared only when you allow it through an accepted Connection.
📲 Logging In & Account Setup
Q: How do I log in for the first time?
Enter your phone number, verify with the code, select your role (Talent or Employer), and start building your profile.
Q: Can I switch between Talent and Employer roles?
Not currently. If you need both, you may need separate accounts.

Q: What should I include in my Vetano profile?
At minimum:
Bio + role(s) you want
Intro video
Skill Showcase (up to 9 media slots)
Optional: attachments (resume, certificates, awards, licenses)

Q: What should I say in my intro video?
Keep it simple (30–60 seconds):
Who you are + what role you want
1–2 highlights (experience/specialties)
Strengths (reliability, teamwork, quality)
Availability + where you can work
Optional: show 10–15 seconds of proof (before/after, quick demo, tools/setup, certification).
Q: What is the Skill Showcase for?
To prove your skills visually. Use the 9 slots for before/after, short work clips, projects, certifications, and anything that shows quality and consistency.
Q: Can white-collar roles use Vetano? (Designers, developers, sales, etc.)
Yes. Proof can be a portfolio walkthrough, project demo, screenshare, case study, pitch, discovery role-play, or product demo.
Q: How do I apply for jobs?
Open the job listing and tap Apply. Applying to jobs is free.
Q: How do I apply for gigs?
Gig applying is part of Talent Pro.
Q: How do I share my Vetano link to employers?
After your profile is complete and ID-verified, tap the QR code button (top-right) to create your handle and copy your share link. Add it to résumés, LinkedIn, and job applications.
Q: Can I make my profile private while I’m building it?
Yes. In Settings, choose your visibility:
Public = discoverable in Explore/search
Private/Hidden = not discoverable while you build

Q: How do I post a job?
Complete your company profile, then tap Post a Job. Jobs are best for ongoing roles.
Q: How do I post a gig?
Tap Post a Gig for task-based or short-term work (urgent help, one-off tasks, events, small projects).
Q: What should I ask candidates to upload (proof videos)?
Add a “Requested Proof Videos” section in your job post. Example:
1–3 clips (15–60 seconds): skill proof, intro, optional scenario/role-play.
Q: How do I contact or chat with a candidate?
Vetano uses Connections to open chat. You can message after the other person accepts your Connection request.
Q: Can multiple people manage our company account?
Yes — employer plans include a number of team members (varies by plan).

Q: What is a Connection?
A Connection request is an invitation to open private chat. Chat opens only if the recipient accepts.
Q: When can I see someone’s contact info or attachments?
Only after they accept your Connection request (and allow the connection). Vetano keeps contact info and attachments private by default.
Q: Do you charge per Connection?
No. Connections are included in plans (Talent Pro and Employer plans).

Yes — Talent can apply to unlimited jobs on the Free plan.

Q: Is there a free trial for employers?
Yes — Limited Time Promo: 1 job post + 1 gig post + 5 connections.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed through the App Store or Google Play (depending on your device). Vetano does not store your payment details.

Q: Can I delete my account?
Yes — go to Settings → Delete Account.
Q: How do I manage notifications?
Go to Settings to adjust push notification preferences.

Confirm your number is correct, check service, tap resend, and try again. If it still fails, go to Settings → Help.
